About the Debra-Group
The Debra-Group is based in Tielt, where you will also find our abattoir, together with its own cutting plant (Debra-Meat) and freezer department (Debra-Freeze). These three areas of expertise are combined under the same roof, which means the cold chain is never interrupted.
At Debra, nothing is separated into islands, as we attach great importance to monitoring the entire chain. As a result, all the different segments within our group are closely linked.
In addition, we have experience dating back several decades. In fact, our story began in 1920 with Alfred De Brauwer who worked in the live pig trade. Three generations later, we are now a major player, which is keen to maintain its excellent standards and concerned about its environmental footprint.
